Given the uncertainty that the agricultural sector is experiencing, threatened by very high production costs, the Governing Council of the ACOR Cooperative has decided to increase the price of the beet that will begin to be delivered in September to 60 euros per ton, the previous amount was 45.8 euros per ton to try to offset the sharp rise in inputs. Jesús Posadas, president of the entity, has underlined that the end of the 2021/22 financial year, on June 30, has been "magnificent" with profits, before taxes, of 8.4 million euros, well above the good results obtained in 20/21 when that figure was 2.5 million euros.
