The Commission has concluded negotiations with Ukraine on the review of the EU-Ukraine Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA). The agreement in principle on the review of the trade liberalisation provisions under the Association Agreement. A detailed regulation hasn't been published yet, but the agreement *seems* simply to extend the Ukraine quota No 09.3704 of 20,070 tonnes to 100,000 tonnes and to do away with the "emergency brake". The deal is still not a final deal as it remains to be ratified by the EU and Ukrainian authorities. From October to date, a quantity of only 2,363 tonnes has been imported under Quota No 09.6704.
