EU’s Common Agricultural Policy Falls Short Of Sustainability Expectations

The Portuguese presidency of the European Council has reached a provisional agreement with the European Parliament and the European Commission on June 25 on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reform for 2023-2027. The European Parliament negotiators talk about a success and hope that the new agreement will be approved in the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development next week.
