February 2021, the European Commission confirms in this presentation of much data its estimate of EU27 (excl. UK) sugar production in 2020/21 of 14.5 million tonnes, imports of 1.6 million tonnes, consumption/disappearance at just under 15 million tonnes, exports of 900,000 tonnes and destocking of 1.1 million tonnes. julianprice.com will shortly be analysing these data in detail with a view to projecting EU sugar trade flows in the 2021/22 marketing year â€¦ stay tuned!
