"Magnificent" beet harvesting campaign expected in Andalusia

On May 24, the beet campaign began in Andalusia, in which 9,080 hectares will be harvested. Since then, Azucarera's factory in Jerez de la Frontera has been at full capacity, where beets from the fields of Cadiz and Seville are being milled. This season, 2,540 hectares of rainfed land and 6,540 hectares of irrigated land have been planted in both areas.
