The beet campaign starts this Thursday in Tirlemont, Longchamps and Wanze. RT is rather optimistic about this campaign: "Despite the drought and the heat, the sugar yield of beets has increased by 5% compared to previous years", reports Guy Paternoster, CEO of RT. “The beet is a robust plant, whose roots grow up to 2 meters into the ground. In addition, we have good land in Belgium and, together with our planters, we have acquired great expertise so that the beets perform optimally”.
