Three leading British drinks companies tell Chancellor plans to increase sugar taxes will push firms ‘over the edge’. Rachel Reeves is taking a “wrecking ball” to the drinks industry with her plans to increase sugar taxes, three British brands have warned. The bosses of Fentimans, Belvoir Farm and Folkingtons said the raid will push many smaller domestic producers “over the edge”.
