UK High Court dismisses challenge to the ATQ for raw sugar

Judge David Foxton has ruled that British Sugar's challenge to the Autonomous Tariff Quota of 260,000 tonnes has failed. He ruled: "For these reasons, and in spite of Ms Demetriou QC’s formidable submissions (formidable in their content, but also, it must be said, formidable in their consequences), British Sugar’s challenges to the ATQ fail".
